Our upstairs heat went out on Saturday evening 1/31 during the record snowfall.
Not good. My home appliance warranty service, Home Serve, called a repair company that never called me to set up an appointment, nor could they be reached by the Home Serve support team. Extremely unprofessional.
Home Serve then contacted SWAT Heating & Air. I received a text stating that someone would be there the following day between 6am and 10am.
The next morning Bubba (the owner) arrived between 7:30am-8:00am, as promised. He was very professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly. He quickly analyzed the problem (the motor, yikes!). Thankfully, he told me that he had the necessary parts in his truck and proceeded to fix problem, quickly. He also showed me HVAC areas in my attic that were sloppily secured, most likely by our bi-annual HVAC maintenance company.
Bubba did not try to up-sell me with regards to parts or additional repair fees. Nor did he pressure me to use his company for maintenance servicing.
I paid the $50.00 service fee to Home Serve and that was it. I’m thinking about changing our bi-annual maintenence company to SWAT.
